I’ve been on a baking spree lately… so I present to you vegan chocolate chip banana bread.
Super easy to make and ahhmazingly delicious. Moist and crumbly in the center with crusty edges, and just the right amount of sweetness.
I am not going to claim that this is the best vegan chocolate chip banana bread recipe because I have always believed it’s all about personal preference whether a recipe is “the best”.

1 Cup Organic pure cane sugar
1 (4 oz) Dairy free Buttery stick, softened
2 Flax eggs (2 Tbsp flaxseed meal + 4 Tbsp water, let sit until thickened)
1 Tsp Vanilla extract
1 Tbsp Lemon juice
2 Cups unbleached all purpose flour
3 Tsp Baking powder
1/2 Tsp Salt
1/2 Tsp Cinnamon
4 Ripe bananas, mashed
1 Tsp flour
Preheat oven to 350°F
In a medium sized bowl mix together Flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon, set aside. In a mixer with paddle attachment, cream the sugar and softened buttery stick. Add flax eggs, lemon juice, and vanilla extract, mix until combined. Add the dry ingredients to the sugar mixture, once combined stir in the mashed bananas.Toss chocolate chips with 1 Tsp flour (This keeps them from sinking to the bottom of the bread batter while baking) then fold into batter.
Spread batter evenly into bread loaf pan greased with coconut oil.
Bake for 45-55 minutes or until a toothpick poked into the middle comes out clean.
